About Fira Code

Fira Code, by Nikita Prokopov, extends Mozilla's Fira Mono with programming ligatures. Common multi-character sequences like =>, !== and >= are drawn as single glyphs, which makes code easier to scan. It is one of the most popular free coding fonts.

Best used for

Code editors with ligature support
JavaScript, TypeScript and functional languages
Technical documentation
Developer blogs

What to pair it with

Fira Sans is a matching companion for prose. Inter and Roboto also work well around Fira Code blocks.
